Botox is used to remove frowns and wrinkles, especially around the eyes and just under the nose. The muscles of the eyebrows move in and out of the eye, causing a squint or frown that occurs when squints and frowns occur. Where to use Botox: Injection sites to remove wrinkles on the face, nose, eyes, forehead and other parts of the body.
Frowns occur when the skin folds in an area due to underlying muscle movement. As the skin loses elasticity with age, these lines seem to persist with age and cause wrinkles.
When Botox is injected into the muscles, about an inch under the eyebrow, the muscles become calmer and more relaxed. With decreasing muscle activity, wrinkles are also reduced, but the effect of the injection is not long-term and lasts for about three to six months.
When someone laughs, the eye muscles react to the sensation and fine lines form around the eye. As you get older, these lines appear and get deeper and deeper, but what happens when you draw a thin line around the eye?
A condition in which the muscles that handle the blinking of the eye begin to contract is called blepharospasm. This fine line on the outside of the eye is also called crow’s foot and is the cause of a number of eye problems such as cataract, macular degeneration, glaucoma or maculopathy.
To make these lines disappear, Botox is injected into special muscles around the eyes to stop the contraction of these muscles and smooth out the wrinkles. Depending on the severity of this problem, a patient with blepharyospasms may have a tendency to develop a series of muscle contractions on the right side of his eye and on the left.
In some cases, venom is injected into the eyelid muscles to stop and smooth the rapid contractions, and in other cases into the muscles on the left side of the eye.
This method is one of the most recommended treatments for blepharospasm and the treatment is a temporary relief lasting for about four months.
Axillary hyperhidrosis is excessive sweating, especially in the armpits, and Botox is a recommended treatment for this. A small injection into the armpit paralyzes the nerves and sends signals to sweat glands that develop into sweat. Sweating can be stopped by stopping nerve signals, but it should be remembered that the effects of this procedure do not last for life, but about three to six months. Patients who have this problem need three Botox treatments if they want to stop the excessive sweat in their environment.
Botox injections are used to treat a condition in the shoulder and neck area called cervical dystonia, in which muscles are wasted, leading to uncomfortable posture and jerky movements.
